Understanding how a young person thinks is only the beginning.

Johana Rosas, PhD, helps children, young adults, and families make sense of patterns in thinking, learning, emotion, and executive functioning and turn that understanding into meaningful next steps.

Careful assessment can offer more than answers. It can give young people language for understanding themselves, help families recognize both strengths and challenges, and create a practical path toward greater confidence and independence.

About Johana

Science, clinical judgment, and a deeply human view of development.

Johana Rosas, PhD

Dr. Rosas is a clinical and developmental psychologist with experience across neuropsychological assessment, psychotherapy, child development, and large-scale health research. Her work is grounded in a simple idea: understanding a young person requires looking beyond a score or diagnosis to see how that person learns, responds, relates, and navigates everyday life.

She earned her PhD and MS in Clinical and Developmental Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh and completed an APA-accredited predoctoral internship focused on child trauma and early intervention.
